PROGRAM
Day 1: Cusco - Cachora - Chikiska
Pick up from your hotel at 4h00 am. then drive to Cachora.
Cachora reaching the town of a little time we have for our
breakfast. Then we started the walk reaching 2915 m Capuliyoc of
a sight as beautiful as the snow-capped peaks and Padrayoc,
Wayna Cachora and initial views on the Apurimac valley. Then
descend toward Coca camp where the climate becomes noticeably
warmer and the flora and fauna is changing. Finally we arrive at
1550 Chikiska m.s.n.m. situated beyond the River Apurimac which
we will set. Overnight.
Day 2: Chikiska - Playa Rosalina -
Marampata
After an early breakfast at a steep road, this day will be more
tiring and exhausting. Arriving in Santa Rosa which is just
across the river from where we Chunchullumayo lunch. Along the
walk we will observe many orchids and wild flowers and many
birds. Continuing our walk we arrive at our second camp.
Overnight.
Day 3: Marampata - Choquequirao -
Marampata
The third day will be our visit to the complex of Choquequirao,
we explored the ruins of Choquequirao. Our guide explained the
history and importance of the site as well as in different sites
that divides this important complex. After you have free time to
visit different areas on their own. In the afternoon we return
to our same camp. Overnight.
Day 4: Marampata - Santa Rosa -
Chikiska
After breakfast we continue our journey home, it is equally
difficult to back down a steep road towards the Apurimac River
where we stop and lunch. Afternoon arrival to our camp.
Overnight.
Day 5: Chikisca - Cachora - Cusco
The day after walking will appreciate the canyon that forms the
Apurimac River. We will take a new road that crosses the throat
of the ravine, where we will have a breathtaking view from Wayna
Qalli toward the canyon, considered the most spectacular in
South America. Arriving Cachora our bus to return to the city of
Cusco.

# The support team plays hard work so that everything goes well
during the walk. Mainly the carriers and cook to do the heavy
lifting. The willingness to tip each the last day of the walk.
Generally, each traveler offers 15 to 20 soles, Peruvian
currency. It is not mandatory but it is good reward for their
work.

Important
- The trek to Choquequirao is not a simple walk is an adventure
for over 2400 meters. The first day can be stressful for some
people. Before this can have problems with altitude, must be
prepared for eventualities how are you, headaches, heart
palpitations, shortness of breath even vomiting.
- If you have any health problem that depends on some special
attention, we recommend that you do not walk the Inca Trail
because at least two days we will be outside of any care you may
want.
- After marking their participation for the Inca Trail, also can
not be changed. The value for the registration fee can not be
returned, as this insurance prior to registration.
- You must be in Cusco at least 2 days before departure date to
the Inca Trail. This just to confirm their presence and also to
make a basic acclimatization before starting the walk.
- During the trip the program may be modified if natural events,
political and technical or forced, but always follow the idea
proposed program.
- Everything that you do not take the Inca Trail can be left at
our office in Cusco or the Hotel. Since our office has a
warehouse.
- To travel to Peru is not necessary to travel with a passport,
but recommend that you carry.
